Mains tripping off

Post by happybus »

HI all
Just bought my happy bus camper and been playing around with bits and pieces. Only just received the mains hook up with 3 pin household adapter - if that's even the right thing - hoping to plug in and play some more.

Upon plugging in and switching on not only did the happy bus trip but so did the sockets in the house.

Any ideas how to remedy things?
Thanks

You have a fault the live is making short to the neutral. Either it has been wired wrong, the wiring is damaged, a fault in one of the consumers or water has got into one of the consumers. Guessing as you had to ask the question your not au fait with mains electricity might be best an electrician to check it out.

Thanks, for that. I thought it was going to be something like that. I'll get someone better to have a look.
