Hi all,whats the difference between the syncro turbo and the one fitted to the non syncro T3 and how does it affect performance?

Doesn't affect performance at all. Orientation is different

IIRC the Syncro version has a different actuator, its sealed, with a nipple to attach a breather hose. The 2wd version just has little vent holes. Otherwise the turbos are the same. I used a 2wd one for several years on my pickup without problems.

That's about it, the screw in the actuator is hollow and has a pipe fitted, same exept that I believe.

Correct.
Syncropaddy is just plain wrong.
