best way to fix front arch

im thinking of just replacing the section i have cut out and also the very bottom of the arch rather than replace the whole arch skin is this easier than replacing the whole arch as the rest of the arch is in good cond

ive got an arch skin im not using for that side i am having to do whole arch

i ordered one from heritage it came on thursday and it is quite a good fit too im dont know weather to put full skin on or just cut off the bit i need dont know whats easiest :?

I would use what you need and keep as much vw metal as possible as its thicker than repro stuff.

yeah thats the way i was goin as want to keep as much good stuff,theres not much point cutting the good stuff out to fit a repo in.ive got a 10 inch section on the lower cill as well so i will just cut the rot out and replace i will put a photo of that up tomorrow thanks for the advice
