I realise that the van has its standard buzzer of doom, etc but what I have read anyway, they are often going off without a real fault being present so I'd rather know exactly whats going on by having extra gauges. At last I can then panic for real

I know there are digital oil gauges on the market, but are they as accurate as an 'old fashioned' oil pipe to gauge one. I realise that this needs a little pipe to run up from the engine and am happy to do this is if its more accurate.
And has anyone fitted some 'good' gauges and could you tell me who made them please, as there's plethora of manufacturers out there and they are all saying they are the best on the market

Lastly, any ideas on a pod type mount to home them in, has anyone done one so that it looks at home on the dashboard?
Many thanks!
