A post RELAY ??
Hi Everyone hope you can help me, I have a 1983 lhd with an early fuse box, above this the A post has a empty relay socket screwed to it what is it for ??

Not sure but very interested- does it have a number on it?? If it's 19 then its a delayed wiper. Otherwise let us know what you find out.

on the later ones its for the rad fan!
i am sure its standard fit to early ones , cant remember the reason,

On mine (RHD, 1983 1.9 DF) its for the no.43 relay which controls the coolant temperature sensor/gauge circuit. If you're missing one I'd expect your coolant temp gauge and led not to work....
Think they are obsolete and a No.42 may be used instead.
