Any black alloy's suitable?

Post by Gregvet »

I have a watercooled T25 which i want to get lowered and give black alloys.

Can anyone suggest some suitable black alloy wheels, new or old? Any mods required to allow proper fitting would be cool too :D

Thanks

Mate just get any set of alloys and sand them off undercoat and rattle can them with gloss or silk, you can get a cheap set of load rated alloys from eBay, bore them out get longer studs and spacers (to the correct offset) and fit them up. It's easier than it sounds. I got a set for sale on the bay at the moment

I bought Merc ML wheels, had the blasted and painted ..... have a look here https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=100971" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The fronts are now fitted with 15 mm spacers not the 25 mm that the pics where taken with, so the now sit just inside the arches.
