alloy wheel ET

Post by avant-garde »

Hi, I have some alloy wheels which I've just bought and they have an ET of 25mm...I have a VW T25 Transporter Aircooled 2.0 1982 camper.
My question is will these alloy wheels fit okay with an ET of 25mm?

I found the following site
http://www.carlsalter.com/volkswagen-wh ... ments.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and on there they have the following info for a VW Transporter:

Transporter 90> P.C.D. 5x112, ET 25 to 42, & C.B. 57.1

Am I right in saying that an ET of 25mm is okay as all the info I've found says 35-38mm ET for VW camper vans
I'm a little confused! :?

If it should be 35-38mm ET will an ET of 25mm be safe to use etc. Could I still drive it okay?

Many thanks :ok

That info you've quoted is for a T4.

Yes ET25 is ok but what size are the wheels and what vehicle are they from?

There's more than enough info on here and the Brick-Yard to see what fits BEFORE buying alloys....
There's no 'r' in bought!
