tap pressure

hi , wonder if someone can give me some advice please ? when i turn the water tap on in the van , it splutters , sprays water everywhere then settles down to a steady flow anyone ever cured this ? cheers jeff

I would guess that you are switching the pump on prior to the tap actually opening. Hence the pressure in the system is higher when the tap first opens, causing the spluttering. Once the pressure drops, the flow becomes steady.
Try opening the tap before switching the pump to prevent the spike in pressure.

Most likely you need a non return valve to stop the water running back to the tank.
