VW Part Number Request Please - Lugnut/Cagenut (see photo)

Post by Mickyfin »

Image

Basically these are secured to the chassis in the front underbody, and then a bolt and washer screw into them to secure the front Syncro bash plate in place.

Does anyone know the VW part number please?

Photo thats to Syncropaddy.

I have looked on ETKA, but can only find the self tapping type bolt, (Speed bolt?) which member Lloydy has on his Syncro bash plate. I'm pretty sure these I have removed are OEM, fitted to my 1992 Syncro Caravelle.

If anyone can help, that would be ace, thanks!

- N 01021527
hexagonal head bolt
M6X15 /
- N 01166615
washer
6,4X18X1,6 /

It's a bit vague on ETKA but these seem to be the bolt and washer?

Cheers mate, I will cross reference those part numbers on my ETKA, and if they are the ones, I will go armed to VW tomorrow :)

Did you find an illustration in your ETKA? Syncropaddy has got that image from somewhere, and Im guessing possibly a trade ETKA?

Yes, there is a diagram in ETKA it is in the pedal section

It's only a M6 by 15mm bolt so you could source that from anywhere

True, I can get the bolts and washers locally, but its those darn clips. I'm hoping member Max and Caddy can help as they purchased some of these clips from VW four months ago. Maybe I will PM Max ;)

Nice 1

Doh, can't find how to order. I will see what I can find tomorrow in a couple of hardware stores, but it nothing, then will check to see if Mr Baxter has any, and if not, then Jetpress it is, however, I want to refit bash plate asap really.

I think the side rows of nuts and bolts are M6 and the front row are M8

Well, I finally found a place that sell those lugnuts.

€21.90 for a pack of 20 Galvanized

Image

Then went elsewhere, and picked up the following Stainless stuff..

10 M6 Short bolts
10 M6 Washers
3 M8 Short bolts
3 M8 Washers

Only 61 cents for those. Motonet here in Finland has to be one of the most expensive motor stores around, would normally avoid, but needs must I guess.
