2 old damaged cylinder heads

Post by Donald360 »

I have 2 cylinder heads that were removed from my 1.9 DG a while back. I was hoping to sell them on as they were working well enough when attached to the engine. However, now that I look at them, I can see that one has a bit of the casting broken where a stud for one of the cooling pipes attaches. And the other has two small stumps of the exhaust studs that I just cannot get out. Perhaps some serious heat might budge 'em. Otherwise they seem ok, a bit manky but, as i said they came off a working engine - they were removed to get at some dodgy piston rings and ended up getting replaced by new heads.

Anyway, my question is - are they worth anything? Should I even try selling them, or are they only fit for scrap now?

Any advice (or offers) welcome.
Cheers
