power steering pump alternatives

Post by youde4 »

Hello,

My Uncles just asked me if there are any alternative power steering pumps that with fit his 1.6td syncro. His is dead, and doesn't want to wait to long to find another t25 replacement as he needs to drive it from scotland to exeter fairly soon for some other mechanical work.

Cheers!

Ben

On the shelf here.
We have 2 qualities, rebuilt ZF items.
Or, cheap Chinese ones as yet untested.

yes but you'll need to find a rhd p/s rack, new they are Euro 2500 without an exchange unit

it may be cheaper and easier to go with one of the electric p/s systems, there's a few on here have them fitted

it saved me sticking a PS pump on the engine , which is gutless enough ..
just a different solution ...
