Which wheel adaptors

Post by mab »

Hello :)

We have just bought our first campervan, its a VW T25 1984. We have bought some Porsche Boxster 17" alloys and we were wondering if anyone could give us some advice on wheel adaptors as we are really struggling to find the right advice.

Many thanks
Mab :D

only ones worth fitting are h/r as they come with german tuv approval and have a centre spigot unlike most of the cheap steel ebay ones, the german h/r ones have studs protruding so makes fitting wheel loads easier and are available in all widths to accomodate all offsets of wheels

What is the ET of the rims and the tyre sizes? The ET is stamped on the wheel and maybe different to front if they are staggered.

wherabouts are you inthe country are you as i have all the adapters and spacers made up so you mock up the wheels on the van and order the correct sized adapters the size you are after depends on size of wheels you have and there offsets and tyre sizes , if they are genuine porsche wheels the et should be stamped next to the valve and are probably 7x17 and 8 1/2 or 9 x17 on the rear it also depends if you want to bring the wheels out so they fill the rear arches if so the door hinge will also need modifying ,,
