Where's my heater?

Post by Clagmeister »

Hi (again)

Where should the heater be in my 1983 westy joker. There is a hole under the seat where I guess it should go but not sure.

Where would be the best place to get one and are they dear?

And finally when fitted are they 12v only off the leisure battery?

thanks in advance

Mine is an 1990 but looking back from the front at the bench (R & R Bed) the Eberspacher is on the left low down, and then towards the right side is the second vehicle heater that runs from the engine when driving.

Hi claggy

Our 1980 joker was missing its heater when we bought it, Got a complete set up off german ebay £120 inc posting. ours is an eberspacher petrol B2L in full working order. uses the 12 volt off the leisure battery, If you need the exhausts put in webasto on uk ebay.

If you mean the eberspacher they are slung under the van just behind the slider, should be a B2l if petrol, D2l if diesel....
They usually dont work, but can be repaired or relaced as Horizontal Kipper said from ebay.de...............
most common problem is a flat leisure battery, they do like a fully charged one...
