hello peoples, does anyone know if a T25, 89 petrol fuel tank will fit a 82 diesel ?

Unlikely, as the later tank will have the smaller 'plastic' filler neck 'O' ring and the early Diesel tank is probably the larger 'metal' type.
However, I do think it is possible to change 'the lot' ....tank and filler neck but thats more work and expense.

I don't know if it helps or not but I had a late petrol tank fitted to my late (89) diesel bus.
The fill neck was changed at the same time (so I couldn't fill it with diesel).
The big bonus with the late petrol tanks is the ping ball filler neck - no more splashed shoes.
