Most owners on this forum seem to have mint Syncros with many additional toys.

After reading Rich's post on Slobbos thread I think its time to introduce the unmint unshiney vans.

But it is a very long way from being mint and is unlikely to ever be so. I bought it to have adventures in that I can share with my family.

For me this is the spirit of the Syncro I don't want a van that I'm worried abut scratching its paint thats not to say I don't appreciate mint or shiney vans they are just not for me.
So this is for the the unwashed, the underdogs, the unsung heroes, the tatty ones, the "rolling restorations" that we love. No Chelsea Tractors allowed !!!!

wicked. i can play this game....







had been worked hard by vattenfall with 250000km on the clock when i brought it back from sweden 8 years ago.
the gearbox has only just given up ( well i had kept it in 4th gear with a bungee for a couple of years so i knew it was on the cards ) and i have just rebuilt the trailing arms as they had started to collapse, but theres nothing to beat it when logging in the woods,getting to tricky surf spots or just pissing about in the snow.
and so far (fingers firmly crossed), nothing i cant fix.

The Blue Moose, blistered and beaten and now engine-less once again for a bit... I'll sort that soon enough but not in time for SP Definitely one of the "almost-rolling" restorations and most certainly a "thinking man's Land Rover" (tm)
