Just buy some new struts.They should do the job.http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/shop?page=s ... gory_id=57" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
How can the sump nut be at the front.The engine is at the rear.Or am i misunderstanding you.

he said the sump nut was dodgy this was at the front of the van

With new struts.Yes.I would be more concerned with it overheating myself.

Hi, my t25 rear door stays open without my bike rack but won't when I fit the bike rack. I wouldn't worry about that. I'd be more worried about the oil leak and the air con.

Does the van have power steering as there is no other oil at the front of the van?

It could have been dripping coolant; you'd have smelt it if it was petrol leaking

It could be power steering fluid from the steering rack. I would make sure all the issues have been sorted before you part with your money!

As said above. A couple of new tailgate struts should sort it. My tailgate flies up even with the bike rack on. I fitted new struts last year. Over heating? Oil leak (at front :? )? More important then tailgate struts. Are you having an independant inspection? Don't want to sound nasty but do you know anything about vehicles? If not I'd strongly suggest you get someone knowledgable to have a look for you.

Not yet Rob, it doesn't bother that much to be honest, apart from the time I forgot the rack was on and the door slammed me in the back. :rofl
