Gear selector problem?

Post by Transporternaught »

Hi all, I'm having a problem selecting first gear on my van, I'm hoping it's an easy fix!! I can live with it but never been right since I bought her, and would be mega chuffed if it can be sorted.
I have to push the stick right over as if going into reverse, it also helps if I slightly push down on the stick when doing so then it slots into place.
Hoping someone has had this problem to help me out or could even recommend the parts to sort it. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated  thanks!
