Re: Thermostat to water pump gasket
There are usually gaskets in the box with the water pump...........my early pump from brickwerks did
Part number for gasket is 025121043A but I think it's NLA

Did you source a gasket supplier??
Doing a google search for the part number suggests that the Yanks are getting them from a german company called Reinz

Or CAREFUL use of Silicone RTV gasket stuff. Careful as in = a very thin bead of it on one clean surface, no thicker than a matchstick max, then leave to dry off for 5 minutes or maybe a bit more, until it feels rubbery to the touch, no longer sticky, then reassemble (both surfaces CLEAN).

Also have had to use 'instant gasket' in the past on the 323F, also on the thermostat housing. Worked perfectly.

Yup, Mazda 323f

Now sadly off the road due to a rotten rear cross member. Had her for 13 years and she'd got 180k on the clock.
