Clutch plate

Post by stagg65 »

Hi all, Just putting a better box in my t25 at the mo and thought I'd change the clutch at the same time.
Thing is my engine is from a 1.9 diesel caddy (AEF) married to a four speed.
But the clutch kit I need to buy is it for the 1.9 engine or the 1.6 gearbox.
Or are they the same thing, does that make sense ?

Assuming you have used the ordinary flywheel off the 1.6, then you need the clutch kit for the 1.6.
It's quite adequate.
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.
