Where to go to find parts for your Syncro

Post by syncropaddy »

This is aimed directly at all those who ask 'where do I get ........ ? '

There is a thread up at the moment where the OP wants to know where he can get central locking bits and electric window bits .... well instead of searching here there and everywhere he should have gone to E Bay .de cuz everything he wanted was there and nobody bid on any of it. So if you need stuff for your Syncro you ...

A. Ask here to see if anyone has what you are looking for
B. VW still have a lot of stuff and its better than any other stuff, uprated or not
C. Brickwerks cuz he knows what Syncros need
D. E Bay .de cuz the Germans are breaking them all the time

Its really basic stuff you know ...........

Believe me I've looked though everything on eBay (UK & Germany) and the only thing I could find was for some faulty units for 359 euros!!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320896762987? ... 1423.l2649" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Maybe you've got better eye sight than me, let me know if you find a left hand side window motor for under 300 euros and I'll be very greatful.

VW only supply T4 actuators which need modifying according to Brickwerks. Thanks to the forum I've managed to obtain an original one from Jed and I'm also looking at a complete set from Bayvelle.

Always like buying second hand parts from people who give a s!"t.
