Parts Needed

Post by GoldSyncro »

Please could someone confirm that 7D0959781A is the correct VW part No. for the central locking actuators for my 1989 Syncro (I asume they're all the same)? I also need the part No. for the electric window motors (I assume both sides are the same)? If anyone has these parts for sale I'll be very interested.

Thanks

Rob

Found these on the web;

http://www.evwparts.com/vwparts/Vanagon ... 7502B.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.evwparts.com/vwparts/Vanagon ... 7501B.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Anybody used these to replace their existing parts.

Thanks

Rob.

That is the correct number for the ZV Actuators.

The window motors are still available at VW-

251 959 801/802 - 140 € each.

Are the actuators the same for the rear hatch? I've since come across part No. 255 959 783A.

I assume 7D0959781A is the same as or a replacement for 255 959 781?

Thanks

I think the part numbers for the four actuators are all different? The mounting brackets are all different as well or do you already have those?

They're needed to replace faulty parts so I'm only looking for the actuators. I need replacements for the rear hatch, side sliding door and drivers side front door.

The actuators all have the same part number, the 251 items were replaced with the 7D items (T4?).
I haven't got a link to motors here, it must be on my works pc. Will dig it out tomorrow.

Just for info.
Here are the relevant parts for the central locking system.
Some, as you can see, are now available at VW Classic.

The original T3 CDL actuators are not available.
The repalacement actuators VW sell are T4 items.
You also need an adapter loom to convert the wiring on the actuator to that of the T3, an interface if you will.
I'm not sure the interface loom is available anymore.
I have the spec somewhere, hastily written down before I fitted it knowing I probably wouldn't be able to get anther new one!

They do, but the motor is higher up the door. I think I may take a punt, if they work they'll save me a fortune!!
