I am making a lazy T out of steel and extending the flue 6 inches using flexible stainless pipe (fridge moved). I know this isnt recommended! but since im doing it any suggestions? As i understand the function of the lazy t is to prevent the flame blowing out, and water /dirt runs out the bottom rather than into the fridge. I wont be making a one way valve on the lazy T outlet but simply making it higher than the 'T'. I can upload pics. I Will be using CO alarm at all times to check efficacy, will have vents under fridge and only plan on using it for very short periods (beer cooling).
