Floor to side panel
Having just replaced an inner sill and rewelded the floor to the sill, given that this area behind the fridge is susceptable to moisture build up is there any structural reason to continue the floor to the side panel to close off this section i understand that it stiffens the side panel but am not sure if it is structural in any other way can i ask what others who have tackled this job have done thanks

Re: Floor to side panel
I replaced / repaired it but left a couple of holes for any watr to drain down through the sill.

Re: Floor to side panel
I left mine open. I viewed it as a way to circulate air in the vehicle (without draughts) and to assist any condensation out. You could also partially close it and it doesn't actually need to be welded - modern panels are actually bonded together so you could use a similar adhesive.
This discussion did come up once before. It was felt that whilst it does offer a little strength, it was not crucial and in the end you decide what works best for you. Some completely reinstated that section, some part, some not at all. It worked open for me as the oven is just above this space in mine.

Thanks guys i was thinking of replacing sections with gaps in between to give me access in the future for inspecting easy waxoyl/dinitrol etc and air circulation and add some stiffness to the outer panel

Good move I'd say.
