In the back of my mind I've always thought that it would be useful to have an underslung locker below my van. No larger than a waste water tank. Somewhere you can put dirty shoes, empty camping gaz cartridges, charcoal. Stuff that's not what you'd want inside your van.
So far it's been suggested that a gun locker might work well. It probably would but they are heavy and perhaps over engineered for this.
A sturdy plastic locker would do, the thick solid stuff. Bolt up beneath the van with door facing out. But haven't found anything suitable.
Basically I was hoping you genius lot might have some ideas for underslung storage.
