I'd have thought it was worth trying to save (though not by me!). There's a thread further up this forum, wondering how many Syncros are left. Well, here's one. Like Syncrobaz says, it will find it's true value, but I hope it's saved, and not scrapped for it's parts.

Yeah agree with you.
I'd have loved this as a teenager to restore and learn from. I hope it finds a good home with a large workshop and wallet.
Cheers

SiKas are rare enough and it would be a shame to see this one die. I would expect to see that one go for closer to £2k. No mention of diff locks

Quite true, but 2k, is rather strong considering the resto cost. RHD, twin diffs - Standard for UK or do you know something else?syncropaddy wrote:SiKas are rare enough and it would be a shame to see this one die. I would expect to see that one go for closer to £2k. No mention of diff locks

Nope .... Im looking at breaker value plus a bit of rarity value. I reckon my panel van will cost about €4000 just to get the body ready for assembly so I reckon £2000 would be a good start especially if it had twin diff locks. When you sit down and think about the costs it can get a little scary.

it would probably work out cheaper for you if you just gave me the van..
