5 speed gearbox codes

Hi,
Been on the lookout for a replacement 5 speed gearbox for my 89 westy for a while (1.6D JX engine)..
(my own gearbox pops out of second)
Anyhow I've been offered a replacement gearbox off a 5 speed diesel caravelle.
Apparently the guy that's selling it has taken the bellhousing and spigot shaft off it for hooking a 1.9 conversion onto his own 4 speed box..

Just wondering should the codes match up between the caravelle box and my own van?
Are all 5 speed t25 gearboxes the same?

Is it a major job to swap on my own bellhousing and spigot shaft when doing the swap or is this a job for the experts

Looking to the gearbox experts for advice..
