I think so. The rear most one is counterbalancing the second and some of the third. Not sure how you would calculate it but there would be a load of weight pressing down on the rear of the tow truck.

I've been following the guys thread at Syncro@yahoogroups.com and as far as I can tell it's kosha. They've been imported by Autostadt West Vehicle Importation & Sales for resale in the States. I remember the red one being for sale on German eBay not so long ago. I bet they all go for silly money!!

Looking at the website pics several are from Lars. The red one was the 'twin' 16" of the one he had up for about 28k euro. IIRC it was up for 18.5k euro.

It is astonishing the loads some consumer vehicles allow a regular driver to pull here in the US. That truck probably has a tow rating of 18,000lbs and a payload capacity for the hitch vertical load of 3000lbs. So, 4 vehicles averaging 3500lbs plus a trailer that weighs 3000lbs would still be in its range.

Ahhh the covetous poison flowing through the veins...

My family live close to Sacramento. I've been looking for something to keep in CA for when we go out there for trips. If I was there for a visit I dont know if I could stop myself going for that 16'.
