hi there folks! my first time on here so be gentle
brort me first t25 just before xmas and been restoring since
having constant problems with coolant system and constantly overheat and over pressurising i came to conclusion it gotta be headgasket
after few hours sripping i found the cause....yes headgasket gone but into the bargain ive gotta cracked head...wasnt happy finding that
mines a 1700 diesel non turbo and im finding out its very rare to find replacement head or donor engine
looking at upgrade to 1900 non turbo,searching ebay the most popular listings for caddy 1900 diesel engine
my main worrie is will my sump fit onto 1900 diesel? also will mountings be the same,id like to fit my manifold onto new engine to keep my excaust too
all advise good or bad very welcome, please help the newbee!! any usefull links and if any parts for sale get in touch

Sounds like the upgrade that happened to my van before I owned it. Do-able. A 1-y or AAZ conversion is what I think you could try googling...good luck.

Loads of info in the WIKI mate. Keep on coming with the questions though and dont be shy, very friendly bunch on here. I did the 1Y swap a couple of years ago and got loads of help and advice............dont struggle ! Last thing is where abouts in the world are you, dont give too many details (there are some "strange" collectors out there) but the county would be good. You never know one of us T3ers might be a stones throw away !
