[quote="sepp myier (1974 world cup goal keeper with the large hands) [/quote] Unlike Alan Rough Sepp Maier was one of the true greats and along with German company Reusch developed the first pairs of goalie gloves. I think I read he used to wear oversized gloves and put plastic tips in the ends for extra reachability. Also wore silly long shorts and sometimes mitten style gloves. :D

Hi,

There is a blues mettalic syncro 14" with an original bluestar interior in the Netherlands. Its also used on broschyres from VW but the name Bluestar was never put on it! It came original with this interior.

Besides the 3 carat syncro 16" you mentioned there are between 20-40 syncro 14" produced with carat interior and a few are delivered with oettinger specs.

AFAIK, VW never built one.
Syncrospares have certainly built one and reinforced it to syncro spec. Jon claimed it was the only Bluestar Syncro in existence.

You can convert a Syncro to Bluestar using Bluestar stuff and you can convert a Bluestar to Syncro but it will never be a Bluestar as VW never made them. By claiming its "the only Bluestar Syncro in existence" simply shows what you are dealing with.
