Is there a difference between a diesel and petrol tanks?

yes, mainly because of starter motor location i've been told

Also there is a difference between the van and truck tanks.

Got a petrol van tank here if you need one.

I'm only asking because there a couple on ebay cheap.
I don't need one yet!! I was just interested in knowing
The long term plan is to get a syncro but failing that I might convert my westy into one, by buying a scrapper or parts.
