One of my gaskets on the exhaust is leaking due to a snapped stud. I have new studs gaskets etc
My question is do I have to remove the turbo to remove to exhaust manifold as the manual says or can I just remove the manifold?
Cheers

Re: jx exhaust manifold removal
Ok I removed the manifold. Here's how to do it for future reference or to help someone else.
Remove silencer and pipe to turbo outlet ( you don't need to by it gives you more room)
Remove all rubber inlet hoses ( check them whilst they're off for splits etc) 6 or 7 mm socket
Remove oil feed pipe on turbo 17mm spanner
Remove the 4 star bolts turbo to ex manifold ( these are likely to snap!) 12mm socket
Remove turbo to mounting braket bolts and tie up turbo out of the way 13mm socket
You should be able to gain access to the 8 nuts to the manifold, I used a ring spanner a ratchet spanner would be very useful here 13mm spanner
No need to remove the inlet manifold but it will give you easier access these are Allen bolts size ????
I hope my sizes are correct as it was a couple of days ago now.
