
In brief, Passat 1Y diesel engine going into a 2.1 wbx DOKA but not in the usual way... 20 degree install, wbx bellhousing and starter (not diesel), Petrol gearbox input shaft, slightly modified solid Passat flywheel, T3 diesel engine bars and probably custom engine mount "arms".
So no need to find an expensive and rare T3 diesel bellhousing (or fuel tank, in the case of syncros) and no special flywheel, no expensive diesel input shaft...

There will be a choice of drilling options e.g 52, 20 and 0 degrees and maybe a special 35-ish degree for semi-upright syncro installations.
