Oil Cooler advice please

Post by VWGeoff »

Hi I`m still looking at buying a 25 row oil cooler for my AAZ 1.9TD.. I want a setrab 25 row one pref as I`m not a mocal fan. This kit I`ve come across is interesting. But I`m abit confused when it starts going on about including waterpump or something. As I`m only after a basic oilcooler setrab oilcooler kit. But Brickwerks go on about bigger diameter pipes for the length of pipe? Thanks for reading.

Oil Cooler advice please

I bought the Brickwerks kit for my JX engine last year. Fitted myself. It was easy as all brackets for cooler provided and there is a great 'how to guide on' the Brickwerks support section. Just remember you need more oil. It's a fit and forget item but helps me know my turbo is getting cooled as they really heat the oil up. AAZ run even hotter so I would recommend for you more so.
I also note the kit has reduced in price since last year which means it better value for a great bit of kit.
