i can remember all oddnes from years ago. i owened 2 royal enfield bullets! for those of you who have no idea what i am talking about, they were motobikes built in 1960 in the uk. parts were not easy to get for them and other popular makes and models had a ready source of parts. ie most nortons and triumph models. bullets were then built in india and i am sure most of you have probably seen one on the roads near you, you are very unlikly to have seen an original uk bullit. however the owners club resisted strongly to have the indian bullit recognised, i see a strong opinion in this thread and would wonder if the some may have lost what the function of the vehicles is! get out and go camping enjoy the great outdoors and meet people that you eventualy call your friends, lets not become bigots and be free to welcome anyone that enjoys our passion. :idea

Ok, I shouldn't have descended to that. I would ask the moderators to delete this entire thread please, as it debases this forum. I think its a great shame that this has happened - I have enjoyed this site, and have learnt information from some friendly helpful people. I am now thinking that I am no longer welcome here, and I certainly don't want to interact with people who have no manners.

There is a garage near me which sells Brazilian bays. They start at £20000 and go up to £27000

What I can't understand is why you would buy one when for that sort of dosh you could buy a fully restored tax exempt bay or buy an old knacker, drop if off at a restorers with £25000 and collect your minter in a couple of months

really...

I have a problem with txt/email/pm/... it allows people to say things that they would never have the balls to say face to face, with the click of a mouse. I have my own business and email is the scourge of people who think they need to vent their spleen without taking the old 30 second rule of reading what they have written before posting/texting/emailing.

home office number/address/moby number freely availble to anyone who needs it, hell, i'll even meet anyone half way if needs be... face to face talking is the best way to communicate.

forums like these are for open discussion and differences of opinion. I have been a member for years and Highlander, although relatively new is a good and honest poster; in no way has he/she/it been defamatory in the unwritten but accepted rules of engagement...

Well, if you think its acceptable in the "rules of engagement" to tell someone to "sod off" and that they are "small minded" etc etc - then this isn't a pleasant forum group to engage with. Opinions are one thing - and can be robust, but are always IMHO...

err...you're very welcome, but you'd best get planning permission, the road re-routed, and some paving sorted first!! We are End of terrace, with the distance to the road being that of the path!!!
But hey, if you are in the area, come if for a cuppa!
