No, not essential - depends on the under rubber conditions. As long as VC and diff locks are working, you should be OK.
And one more thing - for all coming to the event - have a look at your CV boots for splits as we are bound to travel through some water and mud!

sose any one have a cb singnal streth monitor thingy so that we could set up the cb's before we head out? just a thought.

Jed - Ive got your 22mm socket onboard (bet you'd forgotten about that huh) I'll swap it for the gauge thingy

In light of Syncrodoug's coments about condition of CV boots's when wading , Just fitted two new 16" CV kits to OSR Shaft(from Mr Baxter). Quality parts GKN.
