Removing/refitting fuel pump on jx

No it’s creates a vacuum for the brake servo so no bleeding involved except a bit of knuckle skin,after the bolt and clamp is removed it just lifts out,no timing,may have to turn it a bit to get the gear wheel on the bottom to engage.there is an o ring on the bottom of the pump,should be ok sure Brickwerks would have one

Eventually got the new belt on and pump set up and replaced the fuel line.

Tried starting after priming and have blown the the glow plug fuse in the black box (I say fuse but it was a wire wrapped around the screws thanks previous owner)

Got new 50 amp strip fuses on order but was wondering what would blow it in the first place? I did replace all the glow plugs while I had the pump out. Anything I should be worried about before next attempt?

Well it starts just need to get it out for run and see how it goes. Thanks for all the help along the way! Huge learning curve but glad I tried it myself
