Spec reads like the thinking man's (as opposed to the fashion victim's) weapons of choice for 1993:
217 SUP's on STX hubs, Coda 986's, SS7's, some stupid narrow ex-Raleigh Ti bars, Kona Impact headset, LX Rapidfires (on Magura clamps) shifting an LX groupset 48/36/24 (Middleburn granny) and a 12-28 7-speed cassette. The only modern parts are Ergon grips and a a Spesh Avater Gel saddle (to save the old chap from going numb!)
If only it had some Pace RC-100's up front...might have a look at fleabay on the offchance
So who's still got a Rockhopper with a Dia-Compe U-brake then?
