Can't find that lock, it's not where I thought it was.
I can't remember where I've put it - if I come across it I'll give you a toot

Re: Pick up locker doors mod
more work today
Completed both lock cut outs and filled the old hinge plate holes then added a final coat of primer

Cut outs from the back, tried to keep as much of the back panel as possible as the trial rusty door whent all floppy after cutting too much out

replicated the cutouts for the hinges on the bottom of the new door

Re: Pick up locker doors mod
Made some spacers to fit the hinges out of erm...... an old MTB disc I had.
It just happened to be the right thickness and the holes lined up too

Decided to bolt in the hinges as I don't think my welding is good enough to hold a door on

Finished door before final paint

Re: Pick up locker doors mod
Removed the lock hardware this evening and sprayed it with liberal coatings of THB (Tramps Hat Black)
Used some double sided sticky pad/tape to seal the locks around the hole in the door - same sort of stuff that they use to stick radio gear into an RC car.
Sorry no pics phone was flat - gonna crack on with fitting if it's a bit nicer tomorrow eve..
