Well I'm a happy bunny! :D

Engine was running yesterday after finally sourcing the parts that were missing (thanks to a fair few people on here, I owe a few beers! :trunk)

Some how my £20.00 engine is running sweeeet as well so really happy. Dad tuned her up and I'm now ready to finish off all of the welding. :ok

Might actually make getting her down to Newquay for my kite surfing lesson

On the weekend just gone I have managed to give the bus her maiden voyage of 13miles to my factory so more welding could take place.

Had a very good day and managed to repair the section below the windscreen

After cutting out the section

Wow - & I was feeling pleased with myself just because I took the old r n r bed out of mine......

Can anyone tell me what I need put between the img img so that my piccies will show up? I've read the FAQ & not much wiser. Can I just find the pic I want in my Picasa web album & cut n paste the address from the address bar?

I know I'm asking lots of basic questions but hopefully I'll learn & can start becoming useful to others. Either that or I owe loads of drinks at various shows........ :D

I use photobucket to upload the pictures. You can then use their link to 'copy' onto the forum :ok

So another good day Saturday

Welding in the lower front panel
Image

My brother then started doing what he does best. The body work, starting with the dent that was around the driver headlamp
Image

And after
Image

Also finished the last patches of welding
Image
Image
Image

And got the dash out to sort the heater blower out. Managed to get the dash to move out enough that I didn't have to worry about disconnecting the heater controls!
Image
And didnt have to take the top of to get at the blower. I was able to get at it enough to start the motor turning and then lube'd her up and she blows a treat now :ok

All in all another good day saturday so the filling and paint prep begins! I have ordered my rustolium and gone for white and orange. Cant remember the codes

Plan for this saturday;

Cut in the high-top windows and start getting the battening in place for the insulation and panels.
Modify Audi A3 leather seats and weld sub frame on

Hopefully I can get the above done.

Well I might not have posted for a while but the fun and games are still on going.

I have started on the inside on the van now. Fixing all of the battening in the hightop ready for the panels and started preping the floor.

Also got the A3 leather seat fitting on the drivers side, just got to the passenger side to do. The body work is having all of its prep work with lots and lots of filler!

I'm still amazed with the engine, NO oil leaks or water leaks  . I have driven nearly 500miles since the engine going in and the only issue i have got is the the choke pull off is no knackered. Need to try and source another one!

I will put more pictures up when I get a chance!
