Damn. started her up no buzzer :) took her for a wee drive no buzzer :) told wife how clever i had been fixing problem (i did tell her about help I'd had from here) jumped in van to go to shop turned her on BZZZZZZ. Time to take her to the professional. Luckily my mechanic is a T25 specialist, he has 4 of his own. I hear everyone saying 'so why didn't you take her there in the first place' 1 i really wanted to see if i could fix it myself and 2 mechanic is on holiday and doesn't open till Monday

Many thanks to everyone who has taken the time and patience to offer advice and sympathy. Hopefully my next thread wont be ' T25 engine wanted' will keep you posted on diagnosis and prognosis.

Thanks again
Jpee

I admire your attempt to try and fix it! And also well done for knowing when to give in.

Seeing as you got it to go with no buzzer...its not a simple loose connection in the engine bay is it? Trace all the wires to the sensors, make sure they are plugged in properly, and any earth connection is sound.

take care, and good luck

Thanks Everyone for your time and patience.
