Thanks Tony, seems like a good site to be on and as you said, can get some useful info especially as I am an old bird who has no knowledge of mechanics and can only drive a van, change a tyre, put oil and water in and that's about it lol
bye for now

Tranny,
I have just had a look at Photobucket, (to refresh what little is left of the stuff between my ears), and directly above the photo of mine that I am looking at, is the option to resize the image. It is third from left and has a dropdown menu.

Perhaps that may help you to give us a bigger piccy of your van. :D

This was taken in an earlier life.

well owning an old van will mean a steep learning curve in simple mechanics.
With assistance from the forum and a Haynes manual, you'll be ok.

just stop this I'm old and know nothing thing.
Mature folks are valued ... especially here

one day you'll see a thread here that you can contribute to... and with these "old birds" that we drive ...that might not be in the far future :D

may I ask that you join the club (it's free) then you can see where the club roosts from time to time, maybe even get to a techy weekend where folks can fix little annoying problems... and you can learn about your van

Hi Mike
I have tried to do what you said, went on that site and clicked the E D I T photo button and clicked resize but all it did was took me to a page and then said error can't find web page so I will leave it for now after trying several times to do it and failed dismally lol
Photo taken in an earlier life you say, could have been in a James Bond movie even.

Hi kevtherev
Let me know how I can join and I will, I know I go on about being old but I don't really feel old only when my kids show me what they can do on a pc and it blows my mind lol
I am just new to all this upload download stuff and find it difficult as I suppose loads of people do.
Thanks for the pep talk though lol

Tranny,

Try ........... Left click on the centre of your chosen image (in photobucket)
that should bring up a larger view. Then look along the top edge and third from left is 'Resize'.... Get your cursor onto the little downward pointing arrow next to resize.......... left click.........choose your size.

James Bond?............. I wish............

Hiya, No it won't let me resize it for some reason, I clicked on the photo and then the arrow to resize and it went off to some page or other saying editing but it didn't do anything just left photo the same. I will get pics taken once I get her back and get them all put on here so that you can tell me what model I have lol
All I know is that it is a 1984 vw transporter campervan and it's a Galaxy 11 and that's about it.
