If I dim mine at all I can't see the speedo....

Yes its the grey/blue one, You just need to attach it to one of the others coming out the back of the switch, I'll look at a wiring diagram for you tonight .

You would either have to do it with crimp terminals or solder it and cover with heat shrink.

If you are running the standard bulbs in the dash lighting then you probably won't ever want to dim the display.

standard bulbs
wouldnt want to dim the display anyway (who would? - 'my god these lights are blinding me!??') -

look forward to a wiring diagram and any hints you mught have about what goes where and how -

When Im driving at night I dim the dashlights a bit. It makes my eyes adjust better to the low light and I see better.

at the back of the headlight switch

grey/blue = feed to dash illumination downstream from dimmer

bypass dimmer by detaching grey/blue from back of headlight switch and attaching it to any of these from the back of the headlight switch
