Hi eveyrone,
Just to let you know that I've had nothing but trouble with mine (my one is the 200 quid 9.2" freeview/DVD/usb player combo).
I have tried using an omni-directional aerial (only works in a strong signal area) and a directional aerial (could only get analogue TV when I was at a campsite in North Walsham).
Has anyone on here had any luck on getting freeview to work on campsites?

We have a Nextbase TV/DVB/DVD combo thingy and its fab. The quality of the picture is entirely dependant on the strength of signal available. On some sites I have been able to use the little magnetic aerial that came with it. Other times I have hooked it up to an Image 530/18-2 Directional high gain aerial bought off fleabay for about £15. Omni directional aerials are expensive and IMHO not worth the extra cost.
Hope this helps.
