I am thinking of soldering a bit of tube over the broken injector pipe and soldering it.
Not sure if it will work but worth a try.

Is there any way to make the special tools required to do the cam timing or do I have to buy the proper ones?

I will try to get it back on again in the same position but not sure if I can do it ( I have removed the tensioner and belt but nothing else).
Not sure if the timing will be perfect if I do get it on anyway so might need to do the timing.
Those pipes work at 1000ish bar pressure give or take a bit. Realistically you can't mend them. And please follow Hutch's advice about the pipe clips, or your new pipes will just fracture like the old one did.

You can make the special tools for the cam timing, but honestly you're better off buying the real thing.

Don't even think of running the engine with the (valve) timing even slightly out. Valves will hit the pistons and bend the valve stems at best, or at worst wreck the engine.

1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.
