Regarding road noise whilst moving - very much so. I can't over emphasise how much of an improvement I've noticed. The floor, roof, under seats is really easy but trying to get loads in the doors is tricky. If you are going to door your doors, I would recommend spraying cavity wax in there first I'll explain in a minute. I sprayed dry lube on the hinge mechanism, it's now super quiet. I'd previously replaced door window seals and scrapers with Brickwerks components, my door cards were off for several weeks and I was amazed how much moisture still runs down the inside of the door whilst driving in the rain which reminds me, clean out the weep holes, especially after spraying cavity wax. The holes are unbelievably small and it wouldn't take much to block them.
Insulating was trickier as its best not to leave any gaps between sheets when sticking it down, I used Kiravan insulation and recommend it highly.
