Temp needle

I replaced my temp sensor whilst doing some fault diagnosis with a GSF item, now the needle sits near the red where before it was bang on middle......

Mine does that ,before I changed the two long pipes bang in the middle ,after near the red same as yours....trapped air?

So if replacing the temp sensor maybe there is a supplier who can source an original or a better quality part than the GSF item?

GSF sensors have a VERY bad name ... I buy all similar things from Brickwerks.

The old sensor put the needle in the centre, then new one puts it near the red, I went to put the old one back in and it just fell apart in my hands (be carful not to over tighten ) so am still using the new GSF one. I was fault diagnosing the red flashing LED that wouldn't stop flashing! (turned out to be the PCB in the dash, I replaced the complete dash dial set inc. spanking new clock from a German trader at Busfest )

I'm not hi jacking the thread...just if you change your temp switch.....

I'm sure I haven't got any trapped air....although some may say otherwise...

The actual switch I put in the radiator should have nothing to do with the temp gauge ,it just controls the fan...? Because my old one was us ,I still got a temp reading..

I would love me needle in the middle ,not much to ask...
