Re: HELP OIL LEAK!!
Have you cleaned it all up and established the leak is from the pipe or just the union?

Although as said you need to be careful as these ones can rub on the bash plate - so you are better off with a good original one (with the cranked metal bit in it)

Take the hose to a hydraulic hose distributor and ask them to make one up to pattern. If the ends are standard it should only cost a few quid.

Cooper, clean the area. Then identify the leak. THEN start the shopping list.

Re: HELP OIL LEAK!!
Two questions:
1. Engine oil to top up with 15w40 is that ok?
2. I want to get the recessed table leg stand but the ones ive seen are 2inches deep and i need one thats 1/2 inch deep anyone know of shallower ones or a way round it?

15/40 is ok...the table stands, you cant have 1/2 " of tube inserted and expect it to stand up, you need to cut a hole in metal floor an put its "well" into the hole, then seal it off underneath...or have a thicker floor!

And so the misery of syncro diesel ownership begins...best buy a petrol Mk3 Vento while they're still cheap and do some homework for the conversion
