The New Project

Post by futbus »

By the end of this month I will be the proud owner of my new van, a four door syncro Doka, 2.1 with twin diff locks. Lots of history but a few things that i know need doing. I will be going over to sweden to collect this soon as I could not find what i wanted in this country for the price I was prepared to spend.

I have got lots of photos of the van sent over so should not be too much of a suprise when i collect and comes from a recommended source.

The plan is to convert into an offroader, with a few more bits and pieces added and a few removed. I`ll be putting more protection underneath, with a scooby conversion at a later date, possably gassing it. Looking at upgrading the brakes and if this works be offering a kit with options depending on wheel size, and a disc all round brake setup. More clearence on the rear radius arms and relieving the body work to suit.

Any ideas or suggetions would be good to hear and discuss further.

Sounds interesting!

I must pop down and say hi sometime soon only being up the road an all.
Would be great to be able to pop by and see some of the conversion in progress.
