How much play is can there be in the rear wheel bearings,,
and how easy is to change them
eg can you leave the shaft in situ while pulling off the bearing housing?

Its a bit of a lark, you have to dissmantle the hub... IIRC
My velle had play in the rears when I bought it 7 years ago.. I bought new ones ready to change them if one failed or when I got round to it... still in the box.....!!!!
I would say a little play is ok, but as long as it doesnt get worse or noisey etc.. and the hub nut needs to be done up rather tight... 356ftlbs... IIRC
