Panel van 1.7 KY diesel, from being bought at 3 yrs old has always, at least when unladen, ridden higher at the front than at the back - ie the vehicle doesn't sit level. (I also theorise that the well-known crosswind wander problem is worsened by this by allowing more air under the light front end.)

Is this normal for a panel van? I can't afford to experiment, but want a proven cure.

The aim is not necessarily to lower the van (farm tracks!) but at least to level it.

I had this problem recently.I brought a ex plumbers T25 van that had a window conversion .Of which i am converting to a camper.The front was up higher than the back as you discribe yours.I looked to see if the radius rod adjustment had been altered.There are two rubber bushes with a threaded rod that when screwed in or out has an effect that will raise the front of the vehicle up or down .This should only be altered with correct front vehicle alignment equipment.I was only doing a visual check on how far the nut on the threaded rod was wound back.It looked as if it had not been tampered . I replaced the rear springs for a good set off a low mileage T25 mini bus.This brought up the rear the hight looks okay and the vehicle handles better.There are diffrent colours painted on rear springs for the various vehicle applications.So before replacing find out .G.S.F have rear springs"
